What is the Gearbox Project?

This project was created with the intent of inspiring young girls to pursue STEM.
We recognize that young girls and women face significant disadvantages when pursuing STEM hobbies and careers.
Moreover we have seen that these challenges begin at childhood, causing many young girls to develop a negative mindset surrounding STEM.
Our project aims to encourage and inspire younger girls to pursue STEM by building their confidence and fostering a positive mindset,
helping them envision a future where they can thrive in these fields.
How do we support young girls
throughout their STEM journey?

We support young girls through their STEM journey in many ways!
From a variety of online courses, teaching students about STEM subjects, to
free STEM kits to give students opportunities for hands on learning!
